Jhajjar, February 29

Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala and Rajya Sabha member Deepender Hooda today reached the house of INLD state chief Nafe Singh Rathi in Bahadurgarh town to console the bereaved family.

Talking to mediapersons, Dushyant said the state government had already handed over the case to the CBI, besides deciding to establish a commissionerate system in Jhajjar so as to raise the number of police personnel. “Everyone is shocked by the incident,” he added.

Earlier, Deepender said, “Why did the state government not provide security to Rathi even after repeated requests? The broad daylight murder has proved that there is no law and order in the state right now. The police should ensure the immediate arrest of culprits.”
