Bride gets married to groom’s picture as he falls sick on the wedding day

In a bizarre wedding in North Carolina, United States, a bride got married to the groom’s picture as he fell sick on the wedding day.

The couple decided not to call off the event. The groom had fallen sick with severe food poisoning and was hospitalised.  Since the groom could not attend, someone found a pole on wheels and secured an iPad with a picture of his face on it. They added a suit jacket, and it seemed like the groom was present with his wife physically.

On their TikTok account, The Victorian, the wedding venue, shared glimpses of the hilarious wedding in a video that has gone viral on the social media.

In the 21-second-long video, people can be seen dancing at the wedding party and the bride cutting the wedding cake while carrying “the groom” by her side.

The funniest part was when a person danced with the makeshift groom.
