‘Rural Olympics’ kick off

Show comments

Ludhiana: Hockey and kabaddi matches and 100m races in different age groups marked the opening day of the ‘Rural Olympics’ being organised by the Punjab Government at Kila Raipur village near here. The opening day witnessed a low spectator turnout and some visitors felt the reason could be that this time the games are being held on weekdays. Another reason is the bullock-cart races missing this year. TNS
