It was Sachin Tendulkar's wife Anjali Tendulkar's birthday yesterday and the master blaster know how to make it special. As part of the celebrations, he decided to treat his better-half with some yummy Gujarati cuisine. The couple enjoyed a hearty meal at a popular Gujarati restaurant with their family and friends. Their daughter Sara, too, was a part of the occasion. Sachin shared pictures from the birthday feast on his Instagram. In one of the photos, he can be seen enjoying a Gujarati thali that has over 10 different types of dishes on it.

From roti, dal, kadhi, aloo sabzi, bhindi, daal baati and different types of chutneys and pickles, there was every popular dish on the Gujarati menu on his plate. Not to miss buttermilk, gulab jamun and other desserts on the side.

The meal looks scrumptious and Sachin confirms it in his post that reads, "Had a saras (nice) Gujarati thali at Shree Thaker Bhojnalay to celebrate Anjali's birthday. Her Gujju genes are strong but our jeans' buttons were weak after this meal!"

Appreciating the restaurant, Sachin added, “Also, was amazed to learn that this restaurant is running since 1945.”
