Sewerage board SDO ‘opens fire’ at clerk at Sangrur office for ‘not clearing’ his bills

Sangrur, January 21

A sub-divisional officer (SDO) of the sewerage board shot at a clerk of his department at the local office here on Saturday.

The SDO reportedly had a tiff with the clerk, who allegedly had failed to clear his TA bills.

Police reached the spot and started investigation.

DSP Satpal Sharma said the injured clerk had been admitted to the local civil hospital.

Details are awaited.
