St Joseph’s Sr Sec School, Chandigarh

St Joseph’s Sr Sec School, Chandigarh was all decked up for Christmas, replete with the nativity scene and the Christmas tree taking pride of place in the reception area. Videos related to the story of Christ's birth and his teachings were shared in all classes. Class Bulletin boards were embellished, depicting X-Mas themes — the Nativity scene, quotes from the Bible and Jesus Christ's teachings. Carols sung by teachers and students in all classes added to the gaiety. Kindergartners shared their creative skills by fashioning reindeer out of popsicle sticks and Santas using origami sheets and cotton balls. Students of Primary I decorated Christmas trees, bells and Santa Claus, while other students of Primary II, dressed up as little Santas, delivered the message of peace and harmony and others wrote letters to Santa requesting him to fulfil their Christmas wishes. The school choir sang traditional carols.
