Water is the nectar of life

Show comments

I am a water saviour. I believe that water is the nectar of life as it plays a key role in the survival of various forms of life on the planet. It is used for both domestic and industrial purposes. My mother is my role model as she has taught me many ways on how to conserve water.

I use it wisely and whenever needed advise other to do so. The moment I see any tap running, I rush to it and turn it off. I don't throw litter in any water body. I prefer to use bucket instead of shower for bathing. Instead of throwing away the water from water purifier, I use it either to water plants or to be kept in a bowl for thirsty birds and animals. Each one of us must adopt this attitude towards water conservation.

It worries me when I hear the daily news that water table in many of the states in decreasing every year.

When I grow up, I wish to work more towards the water conservation by educating the public and the farmers. Using water resources judiciously is important for the survival of human race.
