Valour Day celebrated at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Saloh

Valour Day was celebrated in the school to commemorate the 128th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. The chief guest of the programme was Lt Col RK Saini. A painting competition was organised by the school under the ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ programme and on the occasion of Bravery Day, in which a total of 128 students from 10 schools of the Una area participated. Five students were selected. The students selected were Bhavneet Kaur of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Saloh, Aditya of KC Public School, Pandoga, Anshika of KC Public School, Pandoga, Vanshika of Sunrise Public School, Saloh, and Prabhjot of Unified Scholar Public School, Una. A colourful cultural programme was presented by students of the school in which welcome song, group song and an enthusiastic speech was presented by Avishi, a student of Class VIII. A wonderful exhibition was organised by the students. School Principal Neelam Guleria, while motivating the students in her speech, said, “We should take inspiration from the life of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and become a struggler in our lives. The chief guest also gave an enthusiastic speech. At the end of the programme, certificates and awards were distributed to the selected students.
