Ten-year-old Khushi Goel has penned her first collection of prose and poetry on an interesting topic. 'The Bunny Who Cooked Macaroni' is intensely whimsical and empathetic story of a miserable bunny – Bob – who is forced to cook Macaroni all day and is conflicted between performing the job assigned to him and following his passion of becoming an artist. Through Bob’s journey, the book conveys the importance of self-reflection and dedication in one’s life. It also includes a collection of original poems that give us an insight into the author’s imagination.

Khushi started writing at the age of five. She loves to write sunny, bright and appealing stories to capture the minds and hearts of the world. In her free time, she loves to write poetry and draw vivid sketches. It is her dream to become an author as she thrives for excellence and perfection in her words.Talking about the inspiration behind her debut book, Khushi said, “I had a pet rabbit who lived in a cage. I felt sorry for the rabbit and thought of composing a story giving us an insight about an animal’s thoughts and emotions with the message that animals have feelings as well. I thought I could write about a rabbit who was forced to do something, but was wanting to do something else. I pondered over it and thus came the story, The Bunny Who Cooked Macaroni. A good idea always comes out when you pour your heart over a story!”

An aspiring artist herself, the author worked proactively with Shrishti Prabhakar on the book’s design and illustrations. The book is now available internationally on Amazon, Flipkart and at all leading bookstores.
