Students show skills through online activities

Delhi Public School, Ambala

On the occasion of World Milk Day, the school expressed gratitude towards dairy farmers by organising online activities on the theme "Drink Milk: Today and everyday". The motto behind observing the day was to educate people about the nutrients present in the milk like calcium, protein, vitamin B2, potassium, iodine etc. and highlight the importance of the dairy sector to sustainability, economic development, livelihoods and nutrition. Milk is an essential part of our diet and very important not only for growth but for healthy and strong bones also for all age groups. To teem with the theme, students of classes Kg to II prepared delicious milk shakes and drew the animals who give milk. Students of classes III to V prepared a dish with milk and shared with their families and explained where all the ingredients come from and the importance of dairy products in our diet. Principal Amita Dhaka appreciated the efforts of students and encouraged them to consume milk everyday to stay healthy.


New India Sr Sec School, Panchkula

The pre-Primary wing took part in a 'lemonade' activity. Toddlers squeezed lemons and made fresh lemonade. This activity took the student's taste buds at a ride. The aim of this activity was to enhance the taste palette of students along with improving hand-eye coordination. It was a process full of excitement from beginning to end.


St Teresa Convent School, Panchkula

The school organised a poster-making activity for classes VIII to X to create awareness about Swadeshi and self- reliance campaigns launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The aim of the activity was not merely to see the creative aspect but also to trigger the thought process of children and inform them about five pillars of Aatmanirbhar Bharat - economy, infrastructure, system, demography and demand.


DAV Alampur, Kangra

The school celebrated DAV Foundation Day with great pomp and show. Although students were at home due to COVID-19 shutdown, they showed great enthusiasm and actively participated in various activities.

Students coloured portrait of Mahatma Hans Raj, Swami Dayanand Saraswati ,Lala Lajpat Rai and Pandit Gurudutt Vidyarthi and sent their work to their class teachers.

Principal Bikram Singh congratulated students and advised them to be ready to face the new challenges.


Gurukul Global School, Chandigarh

The constant dialogue between teachers and parents is vital for an overall development of a child. The school conducted an online PTM for all classes before closing for summer break. This provided an opportunity to all parents to interact with teachers and discuss their ward's progress in online classes and find solutions to the academic problems. All parents appreciated and thanked the school management and teachers for the fruitful and effective online classes.


SMDMS Sr Sec School, Jalandhar

Parents are the epitome of unconditional love. To show their gratitude and respect towards their parents, students celebrated Global Parents Day. They clicked photographs with their parents and made them feel happy and special. Principal Ranbir Kaur congratulated parents on the occasion and urged children to always respect their parents.
