Students from region register high scores

Students from schools in the region fared excellently in CISCE board Class X and XII exams the results of which were declared on Friday.

At Yadavindra Public School, Patiala both the ISC and ICSE batches registered 100 per cent pass result. For ICSE( Class X), Sachish Singla got the first position by scoring 98.2 per cent. Shaurya Dablania who got 98 per cent was at second place and Subhav Garg was at number three position in the school with 97.8 per cent marks.

In ICSE, 44 students scored above 90 per cent and 33 students scored above 80 per cent.

In ISC (Class XII) examination 13 students scored above 90 per cent, 40 students scored above 80 per cent. In Arts stream, Nidhi Sachdeva topped with 96.5 per cent marks, while Ishnoor Kaur Virk scored 95.25 per cent to get the second position.

In Commerce stream, Manvir Singh Chahal topped with a score of 94 per cent.

In Science, Mohkam Singh Virk scored highest 94 per cent.

Tanishq topped in the Class X at St Stephen's School. Chandigarh with a score of 97.8 per cent marks.

Jigyasa Kapoor (97.8 per cent) and Karan Singh Sandhu (97.6 per cent) got the second and third positions in the school, respectively.

According to a press note issued by Saupin’s School Panchkula, all students of Class X secured first division as 43 per cent of students got above 90 per cent marks.

Viha Singla topped in the school by securing 99.2 per cent marks. She scored 100 per cent in English Literature, Science, History/Civics/Geography, Hindi & Physical Education

Nitish Gugnani with 97.6 per cent and Suhani with 97.4 per cent bagged the second and third positions in the school.

The students of St. Xavier’s High School, Mohali, shone once again in the ICSE Board Examinations with all students scoring a first division.

Shruti Nautiyal bagged the top position with 96.2 per cent. Principal Mrs. Georgina Roy congratulated the staff and the students for their hard work.

At St. Francis Convent School, Jandiala Guru the ICSE result was 100 per cent with all 125 students clearing the exam. More than 20 students scored above 90 per cent. Arshita Jain topped in the school with 97 per cent marks. Gurleen Kaur secured the second position with 96.8 per cent marks. Kritik was at third position with 96% score.
