The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) on Sunday. Students heaved a sigh of relief as majority of them found the entrance easy and NCERT based.
Police were deployed in all the exam centers in Chandigarh in order to maintain distancing.
Sukhmanjit Brar said, "The paper was easy overall. The biology section was majority based on NCERT syllabus. Some questions in physics section were tricky and required conceptual clarity. Besides, some questions of inorganic chemistry questions were difficult but overall this section was also easy."
Jasleen, a student who appeared for NEET entrance said, "Overall, the paper was quite easy. The Biology portion was based on NCERT textbooks, whereas in the Chemistry part, more emphasis was given on theoretical aspects."
"The paper was quite easy and thoroughly based on NCERT. Students who had studied NCERT deeply would be able to score high. The paper is scoring and hence the merit will be high. The inorganic chemistry was quite lengthy among all sections," said Sanjeev Singh, Medical Academic Head, Allen Institute.
