A Hindi poetry recitation competition was organised for students of the Primary Wing by the Hindi department. The pupils were divided into four teams named after the Hindi scholars and poets like Shiv Mangal Singh 'Suman ', Sumitra Nandan 'Panth' , Ramdhari Singh Dinkar and Mahadevi Verma. The themes of the poems were Nature, environment and selfless service to humanity. Pritinder Kaur, Principal of the school congratulated the winners and motivated the students to plant more trees to save environment. The participants whose performance was highly appreciated were : Naksh and Raunak of class 1,Suhina, Aahana Rajbir Singh,Satbir Singh and Bhavika of Class II, Shruti and Gurkirat Kaur of Class III.
