Schools contribute to PM Cares Fund

Bhavan Vidyalaya, Chandigarh

The school contributed Rs 7 lakh to the PM Cares Fund. The staff and the management members took the initiative. The teachers and the clerical staff contributed their one-and-a-half-day salary to the fund. The school also contributed to the food being prepared for 500 persons daily, in collaboration with other Tricity schools.


Guru Nanak Public School, Sector 36, Chandigarh

The school donated Rs 2.5 lakh to the PM Cares Fund. Principal Gurnam Kaur Grewal, along with Vice-Principal and coordinator handed over the cheque to the Deputy Commissioner, Chandigarh. The staff donated one-day salary to the fund. The school also contributed to food bank arranged for daily wagers, in collaboration with other Tricity schools. The staff also prepared langar to help the needy.
