Patriotic fervour on a high

Honouring its commitment towards the nation, Sacred Heart School, Chandigarh, celebrated 72nd Republic day with great patriotic fervor, raking up the spirit of unity and equality.

Heartians used the virtual platform to put forth their love for country through speeches, songs and poems. 

The musical and dance renditions by Sacred Heart fraternity eulogising the spirit of integrity and secularism raised the patriotic fervor to its crescendo.

Rev. Sr. Arti, the Principal and Sr. Lucy, the Manager hoisted the Tricolour on the school premises that reverberated with National Anthem. The teachers took pledge to uphold the democratic traditions and honour the constitution that promises parity and justice. The Principal encouraged students to be the instruments of change by empowering themselves with education and righteousness.

Drive thru celebration on Republic Day

 MRG School, Rohini, organised A Drive Thru Celebration — ‘Amor Patriae’ on the occasion of India’s 72nd Republic Day on the school campus. The event was organised befitting the current scenario of the pandemic and keeping in mind the social distancing norms.

The School Principal, unfurled the flag which was followed by the National Anthem. The patriotic vibe echoed the entire campus through alluring tableaux, illustrations highlighting the cultural beauty of Indian states and patriotic tunes. It was an eventful day that showcased the school's core value-expressing gratitude and appreciating our nation and helped in creating the memories which will be cherished forever!

Priyanka Barara, Principal, MRG School, explaining the celebration theme for Republic Day, said, “ We came up with this drive through theme for the Republic Day in order to host a unique celebration that promises safety and security of the students and teachers. The students were excited to be back in their school campus, and become a part of this Republic Day event in their fancy attires.”
