Republic Day was celebrated in the school. The school choir sang a patriotic song in the morning assembly and Principal Gurmant Kaur Gill addressed the students asking them to do their best and feel proud to be an Indian. The whole school campus was caught up in a patriotic fervour. A class activity, ‘badge making’, was organised for the students of classes VI to VIII. Students made colourful badges with different materials like ribbons, craft paper, Tricolour sheets, tricolour threads, etc. Their artisanship was quite fascinating. After making badges all the students pinned the badges on their school blazers. The pre-primary wing celebrated the occasion with full patriotic spirit and enthusiasm in both online and offline mode. Nursery to UKG students filled Tricolour in balloons, badges and kites and recited patriotic songs and poems in a virtual mode. Students of classes I and II participated in Tricolour kite making and card making activity, respectively.
