Basant Panchami was celebrated at the school. The celebration commenced with ‘Saraswati pujan’ by the school principal, staff and students for seeking the blessing of the Goddess of Knowledge and Wisdom. Students recited beautiful poems on Basant and sang songs for the occasion. Children of pre-primary classes came beautifully attired in yellow dresses. Students also offered spring flowers to Goddess Saraswati and enjoyed yellow food. School Principal Kavita Atri said, “The festival signifies happiness and comes to brighten up our lives and bless us with the joys that last throughout the year.” In the end the students enjoyed the kite-flying activity.
