What are the key achievements of your school in the past year?

Our school achieved a remarkable success in academics, sports and extracurricular activities. Notable accomplishments includes significant increase in academic scores of CBSE Class X and XII board results, which is the highest score in the area. We were awarded with the Microsoft Showcase School consecutively three times. German language students have passed B1 International German Exam with highest scores and got scholarship to visit Germany. Furthermore we received the International School Award thrice in acknowledgement of our global outlook and international collaboration, worldwide 47th rank in table tennis, selection in the programmes of ISRO like Yuvika and Anvika held at IIRS, Dehradun, and IIST, Trivandrum. Accreditation of Khelo India in table tennis and weightlifting, HPCA Cricket Sub-Centre and horseriding are the exceptional achievements of the school.

Our vision for students extends beyond academic excellence. We aim to nurture all-rounded individuals with strong character, critical thinking skills and a global perspective. Our focus is on empowering them to become responsible citizens and successful contributors to the society.

How are the ‘lessons’ of Covid time online teaching being incorporated in the normal offline mode now?

Lessons from online teaching during the pandemic have enriched our teaching approach. By taking online classes through Microsoft we took a lead in the whole region to be one of the Microsoft Showcase School. We continue to leverage technology for interactive learning, incorporating digital resources and encouraging hybrid learning strategies for a more comprehensive educational experience.

What is the teacher-taught ratio in your school?

Our school maintains an optimal teacher to taught ratio of 1:35 fostering personalised attention and a conducive learning environment.

NEP has set new goals for school education. How far have you progressed in its implementation?

We are diligently progressing in implementing the NEP. Our focus includes skill-based education, curriculum restructuring, promoting experiential learning and enhancing teacher training programmes to align with the NEP’s objective.

Is there any handholding initiative for underachievers?

We have initiated a special mentorship programme under a title ‘Mother teacher’ and ‘I help’ to provide individualised support for underachievers, identify learning needs and offering target assistance to help them to excel.

What are the skill-building opportunities given to students?

Our school prioritises vocational education, offering diverse skill-building opportunities. Students engage in hands-on workshops, career counselling sessions and programmes like ATL workshops, robotics workshop, drone-making, coding, python, artificial intelligence, science fair, commerce fair, etc, to enhance their practical skills and prepare for future career paths.
