e-PTM conducted for 411 govt schools of Rohtak

 Rohtak, August 13

 A joint electronic parent-teacher meeting (e-PTM) was conducted for all 411 government schools of Rohtak district today under supervision of District Education Officer Dr Vijay Laxmi Nandal, District Elementary Education Officer Sunita Panwar and Deputy District Education Officer-cum-Nodal Officer of ‘Ghar se Padhao’ (Teach from Home) programme Krishna Phogat.

 As per the organisers of the event, nearly 45,000 parents of students and 2,000 school heads, class in-charges and teachers participated in the e-PTM and shared their feedback and suggestions.

 The officials concerned maintained that a majority of parents appreciated the ‘Ghar se Padhao’ initiative and wanted it to continue.

 Discussions were held on quarterly assessment conducted in July, watching of Edusat programmes on television and e-learning material circulated through WhatsApp.

 Apart from this, the mental health of the schoolchildren during the Covid-induced lockdown was also discussed.
