In commemoration of the 200th birth anniversary of Swami Dayanand Saraswati, the school organised a symbolic 200 ‘Kundiya Yajna’. The event, held on February 3, was a tribute to the profound teachings of Swami Dayanand Saraswati. The evening commenced with the mellifluous tunes of devotional songs like ‘Om hai jeevan’, ‘Ye mat kaho rishi se’ and ‘Chanchal mann mere’ during the bhajan sandhya. The school conducted a special ‘Kundiya Yajna’ with 200 sacred fire pits. The ‘yajna’ was conducted with Vedic rituals by students and teachers. Addressing the gathering, Chairman of the school HR Gandhar emphasised that the celebration of Swami Dayanand Saraswati’s birth anniversary is an opportunity for the school community to come together, reflect on his teachings, and reaffirm their commitment to his ideals. Principal of the school Monika Paliwal extended her sincere gratitude to the Chairman and Manager of the school and all other dignitaries who graced this momentous event.
