Festive time at Baby Convent School, Banur

The month of October is full of learning, fun, and school activities for students and teachers. Students of Baby Convent School, Banur, celebrated Gandhi Jayanti, Agrasen Jayanti & Dasehra with great enthusiasm and participated in various online and offline school activities. Students of Pre Nursery to Class IV shared their online activity performance videos with their respective teachers, while students of Class V participated offline on the school campus.

Teachers organised a "Costume Parade"(Fancy Dress) competition before Dasehra celebrations on the school campus and students followed Covid 19 appropriate behaviour during the competition. Arshpreet Kaur secured the first position, while Disha Saini & Anjali got the second prize. Gurpreet Singh and Priyanshu were the joint winners of the third prize. Subhpreet Kaur received a consolation prize. The Principal of the school congratulated everyone for their participation and also acknowledged teachers for maintaining social distancing during the event.


Tiny tots, parents celebrate Navratras and Dasehra at Apeejay School, Jalandhar

The essence of the festivity was truly felt and celebrated by the pre-Primary wing students at Apeejay School, Tanda Road, Jalandhar as the kids, along with their parents and teachers, celebrated Navratra and Dasehra. Grandparents and parents gave couple Dandiya performances and danced to the beats of music. The tiny tots, too, gave beautiful performance. Ravana's effigy, symbolising evil, was also burnt. Deepti Kaushal, coordinator of the school, appreciated the efforts of parents and kids and extended her warm wishes.
