Curfew relaxation for practical exams of Class XI, XII in Ludhiana

District Magistrate Varinder Kumar Sharma has given relaxation to the schools for conducting practical examinations of Classes XI and XII under the PSEB, CBSE and CISCE. The curfew was earlier extended till May 31.

In view of the curfew order, Varinder Kumar Sharma said the exams can be conducted between 8 am and 12 noon and these must be finished before 12 noon. He said the exams cannot be conducted on Saturday and Sunday. For conducting the examination, the schools will have to ensure the following of the guidelines issued by the government for the prevention of Covid-19. The schools have been directed to avoid any kind of gathering.

The daily curfew is from Monday to Friday from 12 noon to 5 am. The weekend curfew starts from 12 noon on Friday to 5 am on Monday.
