Covid testing camp for teachers

Delhi Public School, Rajnagar Extension,Ghaziabad  organised a free Covid testing camp for all its staff members. The school utilised RT-PCR testing method which is currently the most efficient mode of testing the virus. The teachers have started taking offline classes by following the safety guidelines and protocols issued by the government . However, to ensure extra safety, testing was done for all faculty members, admin and the para workforce of the school.

Mrs Pallavi Upadhyaya, Principal, DPS RNE Ghaziabad said, “We are glad that the government has allowed us to conduct offline classes after obtaining parents’ consent. The boards are approaching fast and the students need the offline classes during the crucial days of preparation. However, it is our duty as a responsible school to ensure the health and wellness of our staff members and students. This will help us create a level of confidence and trust among our  parents who would be able to send their wards to school without any worry.”

Tiny tots showcase creativity

Satluj Public School, Panchkula organised a beautiful virtual event 'Little Satluj Blooming Buttons and Bows'. Children from age group 2-7 years showcased their creativity by sending their pictures with beautiful blooming flowers. More than thousands entries were received.

The show was dedicated to late co-founders of the school. RJ Pankaj and Mrs India Barkha Duggal Verma were the guests of honour. Over 1,000 students were awarded in different categories. Co-chairman Gur K Serai and Krit Serai said such events were necessary to boost the morale of the children. They said the show must go on whatever the situation is.

Toy time for kids

Students of St Joseph’s Sr Sec School, Chandigarh rejoiced as their educational toys were displayed at the first- ever 'India Virtual Toy Fair 2021'. The fair was inaugurated by the Prime Minister of India with a vision to make India a global hub for the toy-world. The toy fair which was free of cost post-online registration witnessed more than 1,100 exhibitors and numerous viewers. The toys displayed array of themes ranging from educational, traditional, scientific, do it yourself (DIY) and digital demonstrating the disciplines of mathematics, English, science, social studies etc. The science educational toys and games like' Science Detective', 'Springs and Drains', Che'mystry" Ball and 'Bin The Ball' focused on learning phenomenon, environmental conservation and gamification in learning. Director Rupinder Singh along with the management members appreciated this learning.
