The school took a significant step towards enhancing its teaching methodology by organising an Art Integration Learning Workshop in the school auditorium. The resource persons for the workshop were CBSE Master Trainers, Monika Chawla, Principal, St Joseph’s School, Chandigarh, and Anju Mehta, former Principal Angel Valley School, Rajpura. The workshop revolved around the concept of art integration, a powerful pedagogical approach that seamlessly blends the art with conventional subjects, encouraging students to explore their creativity and engage deeply with the learning material through various mediums of visual culinary and performing arts. The sessions equipped the educators with the knowledge and tools to effectively integrate art into their teaching methods. Monika insisted that teaching must be taken to a different dimension using interconnectedness of art with other areas of learning to enable the students to connect with their culture, heritage and environment and equip them to effectively tackle the real-life scenarios. Principal Ritu Bali expressed her gratitude and appreciated the resource persons for explaining the concept with great precision and in a lucid manner.
