With 15 new cases, COVID-19 tally rises to 2,060 in Punjab

Active cases are 122 while 40 people have died so far

Punjab on Sunday saw 15 fresh cases of COVID-19 taking the state tally to 2,060.

Of the 15 new cases, Pathankot reported seven cases, Hoshiarpur four, Gurdaspur two and Amritsar and Jalandhar one each.

So far, there have been 40 deaths due to the coronavirus in Punjab.

As many as 1,898 people have recovered from the infection in the state and the number of active cases is 122.

Of the active cases, two patients are on oxygen support and one is in a critical condition on ventilator support.
