Why no word on action against mafia, Raja Warring asks AAP

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today termed the claims made by Transport Minister Amarinder Singh Raja Warring as pretentiousness.

Party spokesperson Dinesh Chadha said the minister was enjoying the game of statistics, but he should state in his report card how many permits illegally extended to Congress and Akali leaders had been revoked, and how many FIRs had been registered and recovery of stolen tax made?

He said if Warring felt nothing was done in the past four and a half years, his predecessors Razia Sultana and Aruna Chaudhary should be immediately removed from the Cabinet for not take any action against the transport mafia.

Chadha said, “The department has lost about Rs 3,000 crore in the past 15 years due to illegal buses.” — TNS
