Amritsar, April 13

Akal Takht officiating Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh said everyone must unite in response to the economic policies of the government, while delivering his video message on the occasion of Khalsa Sirjana Diwas here today.

Congratulating the sangat on the historic occasion, he said they must seek blessings of the Gurus as Guru Gobind Singh had created the Khalsa Panth at Takht Damdama Sahib on this day in 1706.

He said people, whether involved in business, agriculture or daily wage work, were being driven to financial losses due to the government’s policies.

“We must unite by becoming ‘Amritdhari’ (baptised) and resolve economic problems,” he said.
