The Sidhwan Bet police have arrested two persons for allegedly harbouring an accused in the Jalalabad IED blast case.

The accused, Ranjit Singh, alias Gora, had taken shelter at his relative Tarlok Singh’s house at Khurshedpura village near Ludhiana.

Those arrested have been identified as Ranjit’s father Jaswant Singh of Nihanga De Jhugge village in Ferozepur and Balwant Singh of Walipur Khurd in Ludhiana. “Ranjit is one of the accused in the case and is at large. We had inputs he was hiding at his relative Tarlok’s house at Khurshedpur village here and his father also helped in arranging shelter for him.
