Patiala, February 22

Speaker of the Punjab Legislative Assembly Kultar Singh Sandhwan today slammed the Haryana Government over the death of protesting farmer Shubhkaran Singh, who got injured in the firing of tear gas shells and rubber bullets during a protest at Khanauri border on Wednesday.

“The atrocities have been committed by the Khattar government even though the demands are with the Central Government,” said Sandhwan.

The Speaker said this while presiding over the Punjab State Polytechnic College youth festival organised under the aegis of the Punjab Technical Institutions Sports, which is currently going on at the Harpal Tiwana Auditorium in Government Polytechnic College.
