Samyukt Kisan Morcha to hold a tractor rally in Patiala District on January 26

During the tractor rally the farmers will demand the strict implementation of MSP on crops and compulsory lifting of the produce

Patiala, January 13

Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM-Patiala unit) held a meeting at Gurdwara Dukh Nivaran Sahib today. The meeting was chaired by SKM leader Davinder Singh Punia. 

It was unanimously decided in the meeting that a tractor march will be held at Patiala, Samana, Pataran, Nabha and Rajpura on January 26, to mark the anniversary of Kisan March at Delhi on January 26.

Pamphlets will be printed and distributed in the villages for encouraging farmers for their participation in the march.

Punia said that huge numbers of farmers are expected to participate in the tractor rally.

During the tractor rally the farmers will demand the strict implementation of MSP on crops and compulsory lifting of the produce.

Bedside, other demands including loan waivers and cancellation of pending criminal cases will be highlighted during the rally.

During the meeting, the leaders of Kisan Morche also lambasted the central government for driving a false propaganda against kisan leader Dr. Darsanpal.

Leaders including Kulwant Singh, Gurmeet Singh Dittupur, Gurbachan Singh, Hari Singh Daun, Jarnail Singh Harbhajan Singh Butar and Kuldeep Singh said the Kisan Morcha and farmers will give a suitable response to the propaganda tactics being played by the government to foil the tractor rally.
