SAD delegation meets President

SAD delegation comprising Sukhbir Singh Badal, Naresh Gujral and Manjinder Singh Sirsa met President Ram Nath Kovind on Monday, urging him not to give his assent to the farm Bills and advise the government to send these to a select committee. The delegation said the ruling party, discarding tradition, had not cared to take its allies and the Opposition on board on such a critical issue. — TNS
