Bathinda, February 24

Members of the SAD (D) sent a memorandum to the Centre via the Bathinda Deputy Commissioner today.

The memorandum stated that increased fuel prices were burning a hole in the pockets of common man and the government must decrease the rates immediately.

SAD (D) Bathinda district Jathedar Sarbjit Singh Doomwali led the party members, holding placards with slogans against the increased fuel prices, to the DC office.

Former MP Paramjit Kaur said, “We demand that the Centre must reduce fuel prices as soon as possible otherwise we will be forced to hold string of protests in the coming days. We have sent a memorandum to the government via DC to express the concerns of common man.”
