Rain damaged 213 houses in Muktsar: Report

Heavy rainfall (285.76 mm) has not just damaged the crops, but houses as well in Muktsar.

As per the district administration’s report, at least 213 houses have been damaged. Further, a poultry farm has also collapsed, killing 200 chickens. The report also stated that the crops on 51,034 hectares in the district had been affected due to waterlogging.
