Punjab minister Meet Hayer seeks MP Simranjit Singh Mann's apology for 'insulting' Bhagat Singh

Chandigarh, July 15

Lashing out at the newly elected Sangrur MP and SAD (A) chief, Simranjit Singh Mann, for calling Shaheed Bhagat Singh a 'terrorist', Minister for Higher Education And Languages Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer today demanded an unconditional apology from him for his slanderous remarks.

Addressing a press conference here, he also announced that the state would bestow the status of martyr on Bhagat Singh.
