The Aam Aadmi Party Government will take oath on March 16.

It was said on Thursday that they would take oath at Khatkar Kalan, the native place of martyr Bhagat Singh.

On March 13, the party will take out a roadshow in Amritsar, sources said.

AAP had swept the Assembly election results on Thursday bagging 92 seats out of 117.

Meanwhile, AAP elected Bhagwant Mann as Leader of its Legislative Party in Punjab on Friday.

In a meeting of the newly elected AAP MLAs held in Punjab's Mohali, Budhlada MLA Budh Ram proposed the name of Mann as Leader of the Legislative Group, which was unanimously accepted by all other 91 MLAs.

AAP’s victory roadshow in Amritsar on Sunday

The Aam Aadmi Party will take out a roadshow in Amritsar on Sunday, party sources said after Punjab CM-designate Bhagwant Mann met the party’s national convener Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi on Friday and invited him to oath ceremony. Both the events will be attended by Kejriwal, the sources said.

Punjab chief minister designate Bhagwant Mann began a key meeting with Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal around 2.15 pm in Delhi to decide the future course of government formation in the border state.

Mann to meet governor on Saturday

Talking to reporters in Sangrur before leaving for the national capital, Mann said he was going to meet Kejriwal and would congratulate him on the party's stupendous victory in the Punjab election.

Mann said, “I will meet the (Punjab) governor on Saturday. We will seek time from him on Friday.”
