Show comments

Mohali, June 9

Bir Devinder Singh, former Deputy Speaker, today urged the CM to probe the multi-crore stamp duty scam regarding the 120-acre land in two villages of Bairampur and Manak Majra in Mohali district. The land was allegedly transferred without paying stamp duty, causing a loss of several crores to the state exchequer. “When the former tehsildar objected, she was transferred and Vikash Sharma was appointed, who made a parallel file and approved it,” he said. — TNS
