Overloaded trucks to be impounded: Punjab Transport Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar

Punjab Transport Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar today said strict action will be taken against overloaded vehicles and trucks entering from other states illegally.

After hearing the demands of truck operators at his office here, Bhullar directed the department officials to impound trucks violating the norms.

He reiterated the government is committed to promoting the trucking business in the state and resolving their problems. He assured the government is creating employment opportunities, which will positively impact their business.
