Patiala, January 29

Kaka Sidhu, alias Bhana Sidhu, a social media influencer, who was arrested on January 26 by the Patiala Sadar police in connection with a physical assault case, was sent on judicial remand by the local court.

However, shortly afterward, he was taken from Patiala jail by the Mohali police in connection with another case.

Earlier during the day, the controversial social media figure, whose three-day police remand ended today, was presented before the Patiala District Courts amid tight security arrangements.

The popular YouTuber was arrested by the Ludhiana police, but later, the Patiala police took his custody.

A snatching case against Bhana was filed on January 20 based on a complaint by Tejpreet Singh of Patiala.

Bhana’s supporters gathered outside the court and protested against what they perceived as the police atrocities and gross misuse of law.

The repeated arrests have sparked allegations that he was facing police action as he was openly criticising CM Bhagwant Mann and the AAP government.
