Chandigarh, March 23

Hundreds of farmers in Punjab, who are staging dharnas at 68 places in the state to protest the three farm laws, today observed the martyrdom day of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru.

Wearing yellow turbans, dupattas and bands, protesters remembered the sacrifices made by the martyrs and pledged to continue their struggle until the three laws were withdrawn. BKU (Dakaunda) general secretary Jagmohan Singh Patiala said a large number of farmers also reached the protest sites at Singhu and Tikri border today.

At Chalela village in Patiala, a huge rally and protest march was organised. A massive protest was also organised at Barnala. — TNS
