Chandigarh, April 2

In a major administrative reshuffle in Punjab late Saturday night, the state government transferred 10 Deputy Commissioners. This is the second administrative reshuffle after the Aam Aadmi Party formed government in the state.

As many as five women officers — Sonali Giri, Madhvi Kataria, Isha , Babita and Apneet Riyait — have been replaced as Deputy Commissioners. They will be issued their new orders for postings later, says the order issued today. However, three other women officers — Sakshi Sawhney, Ruhee Dugg and Preeti Yadav — have been posted as DC Patiala, Faridkot and Ropar, respectively.

Sandeep Hans is now DC Hoshiarpur, Sanyam Aggarwal is DC Malerkotla, Harbir Singh is DC Pathankot, Amit Talwar is DC Mohali and Himanshu Aggarwal is DC Fazilka.

Two days ago, the AAP Government had effected its first administrative and police reshuffle, when Deputy Commissioners of five districts — Barnala,  Moga, Bathinda, Sangrur and Mansa — were changed. The government had also issued orders for giving additional charge of Deputy Commissioner Tarn Taran to the Amritsar Deputy Commissioner.
