Jobless teachers end dharna

Morinda: With the police intervention, a clash between locals and unemployed BEd and TET-pass teachers was averted here on Tuesday. PG courses get NMC recognition

Faridkot: As it could not physically inspect all medical colleges to granting recognition to PG courses due to the pandemic, the National Medical Commission (NMC) on Tuesday provisionally recognised all PG courses in all medical colleges for one year. tns

SGPC submits report to Takht

Amritsar: The SGPC submitted the inquiry report on the incident of women dancing to music beats on gurdwara premises near Ropar to the Akal Takht Secretariat on Tuesday. Davinder Singh Bajwa, president, Baba Gajidas Club, was reportedly held responsible for it. tns
