Chandigarh/new delhi, Jan 4

The simmering differences between Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi and state Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu has once again reached Delhi, with at least four ministers called by AICC general secretary (organisation) KC Venugopal to get feedback on the matter and reviewing 100 days of the Channi government.

Those who have been called to Delhi are Deputy Chief Minister Sukhjinder Randhawa, Bharat Bhushan Ashu, Amrinder Singh Raja Warring and Pargat Singh.

It has been learnt that the ministers have urged the central leader to rein in Sidhu, and bring him and CM Channi on the same page.

Sources say the Congress leadership is waiting for AAP to decide on its chief ministerial candidate before it makes up its mind on deciding between Channi and Sidhu as the CM face.

Randhawa, after having met Venugopal, said the meeting was about the election preparedness. The four ministers are also learnt to have spoken about the damage being caused to the party due to contradictory line of action adopted by Channi and Sidhu. Both have been announcing candidates even as the central election committee is yet to approve a list.
