Income Tax dept raids premises of Ludhiana builders

The raids started at around 6 am in the presence of police and army personnel

The Income Tax department on Tuesday started early-morning raids on the premises of leading builders here.

They include Manpreet Singh Ayali and owners of Sunview Enclave.

I-T sleuths started the raids at around 6 am in the presence of police and army personnel at almost all premises of these builders.

The raids are going on and the entire areas have been cordoned off; no-one is allowed to enter or exit the premises.

Earlier, the I-T department had raided local cycle manufacturers and dried-fruit dealers.
