Govt ‘prepared’ to tackle bird flu

Minister for Animal Husbandry and Rural Development Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa said no case of bird flu had been reported in the state so far, but the government had taken all precautions to deal with the situation.

Addressing a press meet at Punjab Bhawan, he said people who eat eggs and meat need not be afraid. “They just need to eat these products after proper cooking.”
