Gold worth Rs5 cr seized in Amritsar

Amritsar: The Amritsar Customs Department seized 10.22 kg gold, worth around Rs5 crore, from six passengers who landed at Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport here from Dubai.

Customs Commissioner Dipak Kumar Gupta said five passengers were intercepted when they arrived here on July 16, while one person arrived in flight no. G9275 of Air Arabia under the Vande Bharat Scheme on Friday. TNS
