Muktsar, February 12

Farmers heading to Delhi from Doda village in Muktsar today claimed that they were getting immense support from the public on their way.

Those who had left on a number of tractor-trailers on Sunday, reached Sangrur today. They said locals served them tea and langar. “The public is fully supporting us. A number of farmers from Muktsar and Fazilka districts are moving towards Sangrur. From there, we will enter Haryana,” said Harjinder Singh Khalsa, a farmers’ union leader.
