Flights from Adampur soon: Scindia

Replying to BJP national spokesperson Jaiveer Shergill on the commencement of flights from Adampur, Civil Aviation Minister JM Scindia said Adampur airport would soon be connected to various destinations.

According to the Union Minister, one could fly to Delhi, Nanded, Bengaluru, Kolkata and Goa in the near future, said Shergill.

He said during his meeting with Scindia on January 16, he had handed over the request letter to the Union Minister for starting a direct flight from Adampur to Varanasi.

Shergill said that air connectivity from Adampur, Jalandhar, and Halwara, Ludhiana, would not just improve Punjab’s connectivity but would also boost economy, tourism and trade.
