Farmers block NH in Malout

Tribune News Service

Muktsar: Farmers on Friday lodged a protest by blocking the Malout-Bathinda national highway. The protesters said the government had assured them of fulfilling their demands on August 2, but nothing had been done. They also demanded compensation for the damage to their cotton crop due to pink bollworm attack last year.
