Mansa, July 18

A man travelled around 315 km on a cycle to reach Musa village in Mansa from Meerut in Uttar Pardesh to pay tribute to his favourite Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala.

After paying tribute to the singer at his cremation spot in the village, Dr Anil Nausran went to Moosewala’s house, where he met his mother.

Dr Nausran said he left for Musa village at 2 pm yesterday and reached at 10 am today. He said he travelled all night even amid rain and just halted at a place to freshen up. On reaching the village, he paid tribute to Moosewala and also met his mother. “I wanted to meet the singer’s father, but he was not present here today,” he added.

Dr Nausran further said he was moved by Moosewala’s song “295”. “The singer’s soul and thoughts have drawn me here.” He said he came to know about the singer only after his death on May 29. “I came to know that he is such a great singer and started listening to all his songs,” he added.
