Errors in textbook: Complete probe by March 5, says Pargat Singh

Education Minister Pargat Singh has directed to complete an inquiry related to alleged errors and discrepancies in history books of Classes XI and XII of the Punjab School Education Board by March 5.

A six-member oversight committee constituted in 2018 had said that the facts were “distorted in the books, particularly with use of wrong language”. —
